Triple Action PhytoRetinoid Peels in Sydney

TRIPLE ACTION SKIN PEELS (Phyto Retinoid)

Our Aspect Triple Action Peel Program is $500 and includes 3 peels and a skin preparation pack.

What is a chemical peel and how does it work?

Chemical Peels are a great way to achieve optimum results without the significant ‘downtime’ needed by other intensive treatments. Depending on the medical strength facial peel chosen, they create cellular exfoliation to the outer layers of the skin and stimulate growth from the deeper layers, resulting in a fresher, smoother and more refined appearance. Peels can also help with pigmentation and congested skin.

As the skin renews from within, dramatic results can be noticed with fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, pigmentation, acne lesions, superficial scarring and overall, the skin’s complexion is improved.

For best results, a program of three peels is recommended. We will assess your skin with every treatment to determine your treatment outcome.

What is in a Triple Action Peel?

Lanablue 10% is a blue green alga with retinoid-mimicking action which helps to dramatically improve the skins overall appearance and supports optimal performance. L-Lactic acid 20% is a gentle AHA that effectively exfoliates to help retexurise the skin, improving the appearance of aging skin. This includes fine lines, wrinkles and dark pigmented areas, while providing hydration properties to maintain moisture levels of the skin. Niacinamide 10% is a B3 vitamin that helps to maintain hydration and nurture the skin. Niacinamide is also an effective anti-inflammatory agent.  Canadian Willowherb Extract 3% is a comforting antioxidant that helps to minimise the risk of adverse effects on the skin.

This peel may cause flaking of the skin post treatment.

Who is suitable for a Triple Action Peel?

Triple Action Peels are suitable for most skin types, however, if you have darker skin, you can still have this peel if you are using our Complete Pigment Serum 2 weeks prior to this peel and continually post peel. This is to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation to the skin. We may be able to address your concerns with medical grade skin needling also. This type of peel can produce noticeable results for a variety of skin conditions including, hormonal pigment, post acne pigment, sunspots, dull or lifeless skin, aging and thicken skin.

Triple Action Peels are also used in combination with other treatments to enhance the overall effect on the skin. Other treatments to enhance a Triple Action Peel include medical grade skin needling, LED Light Therapy and Peptide masks. We highly recommend doing a course of LED treatments 2 weeks after each peel to maximise the results.

How do I prepare for a Triple Action Peel?

When you visit us for a consultation, we can help you to determine which type of peel would be the best fit for your skin and your goals. We will also explain what to expect after your peel, as aftercare is essential for a safe treatment.

The skin needs to be prepared with Aspect Dr home care for a minimum of two weeks prior to the first treatment. This skin preparation pack is included in the cost of the three-peel program and is non-negotiable. You may be required to use the Complete Pigment Plus serum 2 week prior to this peel.

How long does a Triple Action Peel take?

Your first visit will be around 45 minutes. This allows a full assessment and the treatment. Each additional session takes about 35 minutes.

Is there any discomfort with a Triple Action Peel?

With a Triple Action peel there is a slight warmth and itching sensation felt while the peel is on the skin. This will subside once the peel is removed. Remember, everyone has difference skin and different levels of tolerance to sensations on the skin.

How often do I need a Triple Action Peel?

After our Dermal Therapist has assessed your skin, you will need to have the Triple Action Peel every 4 weeks. Once you have completed the 3-peel program another assessment is performed. You may be required to have monthly peels if your concerns are still present, otherwise it is recommended to have maintenance peels every 3 months to keep your skin looking its best.

What is included in a Triple Action Peel program?

Programs begin with a thorough skin diagnosis. Our experienced dermal therapist will advise you if other skin care is needed. The Triple Action Peel Program costs $500 and includes three peel treatments, an Aspect Dr Starter Pack for 2 weeks skin preparation, and aftercare advice. Individual peels are $200. Starter pack without a program is $135 and is non-negotiable for our medical grade peels. If you are required to use the Complete Pigment Plus serum the cost will be a further $135.

What is the procedure for getting a Triple Action Peel?

We will start by inviting you into the clinic to have a comprehensive consultation with our experienced Dermal Therapist to assess your skin suitability and identify your concerns. A course of 3 Triple Action Peels is usually recommended. For many patients, one peel just is not enough to correct pigmentation and aging skin.

It is important to prepare the skin for 2 weeks prior to the first peel with Aspect Dr Skin Care. If the full program of 3 treatments is purchased, an Aspect Dr Starter Pack is included free of charge to enable your skin to benefit from the peels with the best results. The combination of skin preparation and 3 Triple Action Peels will provide great results for most patients.

We highly recommend combining this peel with medical grade skin needling, Red LED Light Therapy. Red LED light stimulates new collagen and elastin fibres to grow and increases blood flow to your skin. Doing the Red LED Light Therapy will boost your program. With this peel a Red LED Light Therapy is only $50 per session saving you $50 per session.
